Toshiba America Business Solutions is once again recognized for providing exceptional levels of support and responsiveness to its independent office equipment dealers by earning The Cannata Report “Best-in-Class” Award within the multifunction product (MFP) manufacturer category for a second consecutive year.

The “Best-in-Class” awards were conducted and presented by The Cannata Report, a leading domestic and international management media resource for the office products and workflow solutions industry. The awards were determined based on input from independent office technology dealers representing all MFP vendors throughout every region of the country.

“Year in and year out Toshiba sets the pace in the category of easy to do business with,” said Frank G. Cannata, president, The Cannata Report. “In our 30th Annual Dealer Survey, the data from which determines the winner of this award, more than one dealer expressed the following sentiment: ‘I wish all my manufacturers and vendors were as good to business with as Toshiba.’ That is a refrain we have heard from dealers for many years. Their corporate culture has created an atmosphere where people excel. Four of the company’s executives such as Scott Maccabe, president and CEO, Larry White, senior vice president, sales, Americas, Sue Wilson, vice president of supply chain management, and Sally Anderson, director of marketing communications all received recognition from the Toshiba dealers. That makes it easy to understand why they continue to win the ‘Best-in-Class’ Award.”

Scott Maccabe, president and chief executive officer at Toshiba America Business Solutions and Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions added, “We are again appreciative and honored to receive The Cannata Report’s “Best-in-Class” award as it recognizes the efforts of our entire team. While our company’s name is on the award, the honor is very much the result of the diligent, everyday accomplishments of everyone at TABS in their support of our nationwide dealers.”

The more than 280 dealers participating in the survey were asked to rank their primary and secondary vendors in four key performance categories: corporate support, distribution, product line and inventory. The awards were presented at The Cannata Report’s Awards & Charities Dinner in Rudolph, N.J. last Thursday. Toshiba executive, Larry White accepted his company’s “Best-in-Class” award.
