Toshiba America Business Solutions continues to impress The American Business Awards committee this year securing three more Stevie Awards during a recent ceremony in San Francisco.

The Irvine, Calif. tech company earned one of the nation’s premier business awards for its Encompass X fleet management software (B2B Services), e-BRIDGETM CloudConnect tech support program (New Service of the Year) and LEAD 2014 mobile events app (Events). Toshiba won Gold Stevie Awards within the Best Sales Meeting of the Year (for its LEAD 2014 event) and Best Overall Web Design (surrounding the company’s website redesign) categories at the earlier Stevie Awards event this June in Chicago.

More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes – public and private; for profit and nonprofits – in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration within a vast array of categories. Better than 200 executives worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.

Toshiba’s Encompass X is the latest iteration of the company’s acclaimed fleet management software. Encompass X enables professional services consultants from both Toshiba and its dealers the capability to quickly and accurately document the location, utilization, cost and energy efficiency of a fleet of copiers, printers and other office equipment.

The company’s e-BRIDGE CloudConnect is a cloud-based application, which significantly improves tech support for Toshiba’s dealers and customers. The state-of-the-art support app bolsters the user experience by gathering and transmitting service updates via the cloud.

Toshiba’s mobile events app was designed and developed to enhance the user experience for those attending the company’s annual end user conference, LEAD 2014. Via this app – supporting iPhones®, iPads® as well as all Android and BlackBerry devices – conference attendees could learn more about events, organize their schedules, rate conference sessions, view the exhibit floor plan, share contact information with fellow attendees and receive important conference notifications.

“We are extremely impressed with the quality of the entries we received this year. The competition was intense and every organization that won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “To those outstanding individuals and organizations that received Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Awards, the judges and I are honored to celebrate your many accomplishments. You are setting a high standard for professionals nationwide.”

Toshiba America Business Solutions Chief Marketing Executive, Bill Melo added, “It took a considerable team of Toshiba employees to create and develop Encompass X, CloudConnect and our mobile LEAD 2014 app and each of them is very excited about winning a Stevie. We are thankful to the American Business Awards committee for presenting Toshiba with one of the most preeminent business honors in the United States.”
